Murder Suspect, Allegedly Ate Part Of Victim's Face

The suspect was covered in blood when they found him, cops said, and that's not the shocking part.

Sources told KRQE that Jaime Vigil, 21, ate part of the face of his unidentified murder victim early Tuesday morning at a motel in Albuquerque, N.M.

KRQE previously reported that police were called to the Imperial Inn after reports of a disturbance.

When they arrived, cops found a man dead inside one of the rooms.

Witnesses told police they saw Vigil walking through the hotel complex with blood on his hands, face and body, according to KOB.

Vigil is charged with an open count of murder.

Nigerian In UK Rapes 11-Year-Old Girl For 3 Hours Inside Bush

An 18-year-old is to appear in court charged with the rapë of an 11-year-old girl who he attacked on Friday, November 23 at around 4.30pm in Enfield, north London, as she walked home from school.

She was dragged into nearby Jubilee Park and rapëd in an ordeal that police said could have lasted as long as three hours.

The girl, who was wearing her school uniform returned home at around 8pm and was taken to hospital.

She had to undergo surgery for injuries sustained in the attack.

Detective Inspector Simon Ellershaw said it was "a horrific and unusual attack of a defenceless schoolgirl".

She had been making her way home along her usual route, one of Enfield's busiest shortcuts, at the beginning of the Friday afternoon rush hour when she was grabbed.

Police have appealed for witnesses and Det Insp Ellershaw said: "Given the significant and unaccounted for amount of time between the incident and the victim's arrival home, we are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen her possibly appearing confused or disheveled following her ordeal.

All calls will be treated in the utmost confidence."

Opemipo Jaji, 18, has been charged with rape and attempted rape and will appear at Enfield Magistrates' Court later.

Man Jailed 7 Years For Having Sex With Daughter

An Oredo Magistrate Court in Benin yesterday sentenced a 47-year-old man, Godwin Allu, to seven years imprisonment with hard labour for having sex with his daughter.

The accused who pleaded guilty to the one-count charge of having unlawful carnal knowledge of his 12-year-old daughter, Blessing, was said to have committed an offense punishable under Section 218 of the Criminal Code Cap. 48 Vol. II of the defunct Bendel State of Nigeria, 1976 as applicable in Edo State.

Prosecuting counsel, Miss. Loretta Asaka, told the court that on November 20, 2012, one Mrs. Verlaine Enemaku reported the case at the charge room of the Central Juvenile Welfare Centre of the Nigeria Police in Benin, after being told by the Headmistress of Obaseki Primary School, Benin, that blood stains were discovered on the victim’s uniform.

The complainant said upon interrogation, the victim told the head mistress that her father had sex with her three times on different occasions. It was gathered that the victim, who was admitted and treated at the Benin Central Hospital was later discharged and taken to an orphanage.

Delivering judgment in the case, Chief Magistrate Peter Asemota, who expressed gladness that the accused voluntarily pleaded guilty to the crime, pronounced him guilty as charged.

Asemota, who observed that cases of sexual offenses were on the increase in her jurisdiction, said it was necessary for the court to join other stakeholders in taking a serious stand against the vice.

“For this reason, the convict must be put out of circulation for sometime so that he would not be able to continue with his bestial activities,” the magistrate said.

The court thereafter sentenced the accused to seven years imprisonment with hard labour and no option of fine.

27 Yr Old South African Man Rapes 3 Year Old Girl With A SNAKE

A South African man has been sentenced to 20 years in jail for raping a 3-year-old girl with a live snake.

Regional Magistrate Jan Greyvenstein said he had presided over almost 2 000 sexual crimes cases but this was a first, reported Afrikaans Paper Volksblad.

"What goes on in a person's head to do something like this is something I can't understand. This kind of offence is something no sensible person could justify."

The court heard how Martin Jozana, 27, on 31st of October took the snake to a Bloemfontein house where the little girl had been left by her mother.

Jozana tried to sell the snake to the people of the house and later took the toddler into a corner, where they were out of sight and violated her with it.

The little girl's brother later went to fetch her.

At home, the girl's mother saw blood on her crying daughter and the girl pointed out Jozana.

Man Kills His Friend To Give Him Peace

Joseph Akindele, a middle aged man left people’s mouth agape when he confessed killing his friend, Mufutau, to relieve him of the persistent pain and agony he was going through due to an undisclosed ailment, affirming that Mufutau is “now happy in death.”

Akindele was arrested with a bag containing the skull and other remains of the deceased by a team of patrol officers in the Badagry area of Lagos State.

In his written statement to the police, he said, “I am a tout. I live under the Gbaji/Iyafin bridge at Badagry with Muftau. I don’t have a means of livelihood and that’s why I live under the bridge. I work as agbero (tout) at motor parks; there, I get money to feed. Muftau has been living under the bridge but he was always sick and there was no money to go to hospital.”

“He was suffering too much because his sickness will not go. We didn’t have money for treatment, so after watching him in that pathetic state, I decided to put a stop to it by killing him with a sharp cutlass, so he can rest from the pains he was going through,” he added.

The suspect has been transferred to the Homicide department at Panti, Yaba for further investigation to ascertain if he is in a good frame of mind, a ritualist or/and a cold-blooded murderer.

Unknown Gunmen Kill Christian Couple And Son In Kano

Unidentified gunmen riding on motorbikes today waylaid a Christian family on their way to church in Kano killing the father, mother and their young son at the corner of Masalaci in Unguwar-Gano Yar'akwa area on the outskirts of Kano.

The couple and their son were shot around 8:15 AM while driving to church in Volkswagen golf car in an area known as the hotbed of the Boko Haram insurgent group. The media house of the islamist group was recently demolished by Nigerian troops in the area.

The Kano state Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), ASP Magaji Majia confirmed the killing to journalists saying the gunmen escaped before police arrived the scene of the attack.

SS2 student,17 year-old arrested for raping 4 year-old girl

Oyo- A 17-year-old Senior Secondary School student of Ansar-u-Deen Secondary School, Saki, Oyo State, (names withheld), has been arrested by the police in connection with an alleged defilement of a four-year-old girl (names withheld).

The incident was reported to have occurred on Sunday, November 11 at Ile Mesiah, Modina area of Saki, when the little girl’s mother, Mrs Sherifat Ahmed, sent her on an errand to go and buy a razor from a neighbour’s shop within the compound they reside in.

The woman, in her report at Saki police station, claimed that after about 30 minutes, she stepped out of her room to check on her daughter but saw her coming out of the shop, which door was closed in contrast to how it was usually left open.

Mrs Ahmed told the police that she also noticed that the girl’s skirt had been removed while her pants were torn. This, she added, prompted her to check her daughter’s private, and to her bewilderment, she noticed a deposit of slimy substance like semen.

Based on the report, the Divisional Police Officer, Mr Mohammed Suleiman Baba, a Superintendent of Police, sent some detectives to the scene and the suspect was promptly arrested. After initial investigation, the case was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Iyaganku, Ibadan, for further investigations.

However, during an interview with Crime Reports, the suspect denied having carnal knowledge of the litle girl, saying that the woman lied against him because of the problem he had with her which made them not to be on speaking terms.

Sobbing as he was narrating how the incident happened, the teenager said: “The girl came to buy blade from my stepmother’s shop. She asked me to help her attend to the girl and I did, after which I went back upstairs where we live. About five minutes after, the girl’s mother came and wanted to break my head with a stick but I stopped her with my hand.

“My stepmum came out and appealed to her but she was shouting that I defiled her daughter. My stepmother begged her again and told her to await my father’s arrival. When my father returned to the house, he was angry with the woman’s report, saying that he had warned us not to mingle with small kids in our compound again.

“He took a cane and beat me, after which I went to wash my clothes. It was while I was doing this that police came to arrest me. I had a quarrel with the woman and I stopped greeting her. Maybe that was why she told a lie against me.”

Confirming the story during a press briefing recently, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Mr Clement Adoda, said the boy would soon be charged to court. Crime Reports gathered that the case was eventually charged to court on Friday, November 16. The magistrate adjourned the case to November 29 while she ordered that the suspect be kept in police custody till the date of adjournment.
