23 Hawaiian goats stolen, with duct tape used to keep them quiet

More than 20 purebred goats-- most of them pregnant -- were stolen from a Hawaii farm on a full moonlit night, with duct tape used to keep the animals from making noise, their owner said.

Sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning, 23 goats valued for a total of about $10,000 were stolen from Kahuku Goats, a 250-acre farm on Oahu's North Shore, said owner Keal Pontin. Two bucks were left behind with ropes around their neck and duct tape over their mouths, he said Monday.

"It was devastating to us," said Pontin, 23, who has been goat farming with several friends for about a year. "We're going to find these guys."

Twenty-one of the goats were pregnant and 10 of them were days away from giving birth. "If you think about it, they're taking nannies with babies in them and throwing them over a 6-foot-tall fence," he said. "Just thinking of our pregnant goats going over a fence like that is just sickening to us."

Pontin suspects the thieves watched the farm, got to know their routine, then waited for the light of a full moon. "To haul that many animals out ... they had to have help," he said. "This was a production. They came in on a full moon."

Six of the goats were pets, bottle-fed from birth. One of them is named Kiwi and was about to give birth. "She grew up in our arms, following us around the farm, feeding her," Pontin said. "That was the most important one to us. She was like our family."

Pontin contacted police and is offering a reward amount that he doesn't want to disclose. The case has been classified as second-degree theft and police are following up on leads, said Honolulu Police Department spokeswoman Michelle Yu.

"I just want my animals back," he said. "We love farming. We love ranching. This is our passion."

Ever since KHON-TV first reported the thefts, Pontin said he's been hearing about goats being sold cheaply, for about $20 to $100 each.

Woman Arrested with Cocaine Disguised Herself As Being Pregnant (PHOTO)

A Canadian national has been arrested in Colombia after trying to board a flight to Toronto with a phony pregnant belly stuffed with cocaine, police say.

The tourist caught the attention of a policewoman at Bogota's International Airport who allegedly asked her how far along she was.

She reacted aggressively, which aroused the suspicion of officials who went on to search her.

This year, nearly 150 people were caught with drugs at Bogota's airport.

About a third of them were foreign nationals, according to the Colombian authorities.

The Canadian national had entered Colombia at the beginning of August and was about to board a flight to return to Toronto, when a policewoman asked her how long she had been pregnant.

"The Canadian didn't like the question, which made the official suspicious. Instinctively, she then very delicately touched the lady's belly, realising it was too hard and extremely cold," said the deputy director of Colombia's police anti-narcotics section, Colonel Esteban Arias Melo.

The woman allegedly said she was seven months pregnant.

After performing a body search, the police found two sealed bags stashed inside the latex belly, which contained 2kg (5lb) of cocaine.

The suspect, Nweke Livinus Uchenna whose journey originated from Pakistan was found to have ingested narcotics during routine search of passengers on Etihad flight at the arrival hall of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos. NDLEA commander at the Lagos airport, Hamza Umar said that the suspect excreted 100 wraps of substances that tested positive for heroin weighing 1.700kg.

“While he was under observation, Nweke Livinus Uchenna excreted 100 wraps of heroin. He has provided useful information that the investigation team are working on” Hamza stated.

The suspect who is married with a child said that he is heavily indebted. “I was a successful dealer of bicycle parts until I lost 9 million naira to fraudsters in 2009.

That was the beginning of my problems. As I speak, I am heavily indebted to the extent that I am afraid to switch on my cell phones. My brother is also bedridden for three years and they look unto me for assistance. I feel sad that I am in this condition.

Circumstances forced me to collect 450,000 naira to smuggle drugs from Pakistan. I pray for forgiveness” Nnweke apologized.

Okada Man Has Sex With 5-Year-Old Girl, Pays Her N5 Afterwards

A 28-year-old okada rider, Mr Tope Daisi, currently being held by the police in Oyo State over the alleged defilement of a five-year-old girl, was said to have offered the girl N5 which the girl used to buy sweet after the act.

This was revealed to Crime Reports during an interview with the victim, Sekinat (not real name) after the suspect was arrested by detectives from Eleyele police station. It was learnt that though the act was committed on Tuesday, August 27, Seki’s grandmother, Madam Khadijat Kolapo went to the police station on Wednesday, August 28 and narrated how her neighbour, Daisi, lured her granddaughter to his room when she went out and left the girl at home.

The elderly woman further alleged that the man stripped the girl of her cloth and defiled her, after which he gave her N5 and warned her to keep sealed lips. However, the little girl could not keep the experience and the money she earned from her seven-year-old cousin, Afusat (not real name), as she told her that Brother Tope did 'ashewo' (prostituted with) to her.

Immediately their grandmother returned home, Afusat told her what happened and said that they had already used the money to buy sweet.

The Divisional Police officer in charge of the station, Olawole Ayoola, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, reportedly ordered the suspect’s arrest but when interviewed, he denied the allegation, though he could not explain why he was the one pointed at among other men in the neighbourhood. When the girl was taken to a hospital for medical examination, Crime Reports learnt that the report indicated bruises in the vaginal area though the hymen was still intact.

Narrating her experience to Crime Reports in her childish voice, Sekinat said: “I was outside and he (Daisi) came to take from our house to his room. He spread a mat on the floor, removed my pants and his trousers. He lay on me, held the thing that is used to urinate and put it in my private part. After he finished, he warned me not to tell anybody. He then gave me N5 and I used it to buy sweet.”

In an interview, the Ijebu-Ode-born suspect who disclosed that he was also a footballer, said he was surprised that the girl pointed at him.

According to him, “on the fateful day, I was at Eleyele area of the city where I normally go around 5a.m. to issue tickets to okada riders. My football club also had a match at Olubadan Stadium by 2pm. We were told to report by 1.30p.m. So, at noon, I went home on my bike to prepare. As I was coming, I saw some children playing with sand and one of them ran across, in front of the bike. I stopped and beat her but some bystanders said I should thank God that I didn’t hit the girl. I went home to have a shower and left for the stadium. In the evening, I went back to okada park and returned home around 9pm.

“I was surprised when the girl’s grandmother came to me on Wednesday, August 28 and held on to my shirt, saying that her granddaughter informed her that I took her in, removed her pants and put my organ in her private parts. I told her it was not true but she did not listen.”

The grandmother said she took over the care of the little girl because her mother became bedridden as a result of stroke she suffered.

The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Olabisi Okuwobi-Ilobanafor, confirmed the story to Crime Reports, stating that the suspect had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Iyaganku, for further investigation.

Female Graduate Leads 7-Man Robbery Gang

A seven-man robbery gang led by a woman, Chioma Ezekwesiri, has been smashed by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, in Lagos, southwest Nigeria.

The robbery suspects were arrested while attempting to rob Bolatito Hotel, Kola Bus Stop, Ijaiye, Lagos.

In chat with P.M.NEWS, Chioma said she arranged for the guns with Raymond Chukwuka, a.k.a. Stubborn, they were to use for the operation, which she claimed was a land matter, whereas the police said that their mission was allegedly to rob a male customer of the hotel, who sells fertilizer, of about N8 million.

Other suspected members of the gang are: Amadi Igwe, 41, Raymond Chukwuka, 24, Ignatius Okeredi, 27, Michael Madu, 52, and Okechukwu Jerome, 28, and a yet-to-be identified member who is at large.

The alleged robbery operation, according to the police, was foiled by some staff of the hotel, who promptly made a distress call to SARS operatives.

The law enforcement agents were said to have surrounded the hotel, and later searched all its occupants. It was in the process that two locally made guns and 12 live ammunition were recovered from the robbery suspects.

“We received a distress call from a staff of Bolatito Hotel, who said they suspected some people around the hotel. The Special Anti-Robbery Squad moved in, surrounded the place and demanded to search everybody. It was in the process that two guns and 12 live ammunition were recovered in Chioma’s car. This led to the arrest of all her gang members,” a top police source told P.M.NEWS.
Following their arrest and conclusion of investigation, the police took them to court.

Chioma, 35, who claimed to be a Law graduate from the University of Lagos, was remanded in prison custody along with six other members of her gang by Magistrate A.O. Komolafe of the Magistrates’ Court, Ikeja.

They are facing a three count charge of robbery, conspiracy and unlawful possession of firearms.

Chioma claimed that she graduated from UNILAG in 1999, was called to the bar in 2000, and owns a Non-Governmental Organisation, Youth of All Nations Empowerment Association. But authorities of the University of Lagos said she did not graduate from that institution.

An officer of the school, who craved anonymity, said Chioma cannot claim to be an alumnus of the university if she cannot provide her matriculation number.

“The fact that she claimed to have gone to Law School with the first batch is not substantial enough. UNILAG usually sends graduating students at a stretch, not in batches. My position on the issue is that she did not graduate from UNILAG, and so she was not our student,” the officer said.

Chioma’s claim of being called to the Bar was also debunked by Barrister Tunji Busari of Cognate Solicitors, who explained that “we have a directory for all lawyers. We have all their names with the year they were called to bar, with their NBA registration numbers. When I checked through her name in the directory, I could not find her name in my record book.”

When our reporter called Mr. J.E. Joshua, the chairman of Youth of All Nations Empowerment Association, he denied that Chioma is the founder of the association.

“She just participated in a charity work which the association embarked on in April, and promised to participate fully in other projects of the NGO. But we decided to stop working with her when we realised that she wasn’t a straight forward person. She is not working with us,” Joshua stated.

Five Arrested Over Pipeline Vandalism

The Nigerian Navy has arrested five suspected pipeline vandals in Makoko area of Lagos State.

PUNCH Metro learnt that naval operatives from NNS BEECROFT, arrested the suspects while they were transporting fuel allegedly siphoned from ruptured pipeline belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.

Naval authorities said 13,500 litres of petrol contained in 270 jerry cans and two canoes were recovered from the suspects who claimed that they were only helping a man to convey the items for a fee of N3,000 each.

Among the suspects were two nationals of Benin Republic, Juten Seiki and Joseph Logbo, and three others – Bababo Oritshebinomi, Segun Okimiji and Victor Sopha.

Parading the suspects, the Commanding Officer, NNS BEECROFT, Commodore Chris Ezekobe, stated that the suspects were arrested based on an intelligence report about their activities in the area.

He said, “Based on the information, a naval patrol vessel from Atlas Cove was deployed in the area and at the time of the arrest, about 270 fifty litres of plastic jerry-cans filled with PMS, and 40 empty ones were found in their possession.”

Ezekobe, who stated that the war against pipeline vandals was an ongoing one, vowed to bring all those arrested to book.

He said the suspects would soon be handed over to the security agency with the constitutional mandate to prosecute them.

The suspects however denied being pipeline vandals, saying they ignorantly helped the vandals to convey the products.

Logbo, who claimed to be a canoe operator, said, “I have been using the canoe to earn a living to take care of my wife and child.

“Like all paying passengers, one man approached me and asked for the use of my boat for an agreed fee. Since I did not know him well enough to give out my boat, I opted to convey them.

“That was what I was doing when the navy apprehended me and brought me here. I don’t know anything about the act. I didn’t know the products were stolen.”

Father who beat to death man he caught raping his 5yr old daughter won't face charges

A Texas father who discovered a man raping his five-year-old daughter and beat him to death with his bare hands will not be charged with homicide under state law.

A Lavaca County grand jury decided not to press charges against the 23-year-old father in the June 9th death of Jesus Mora Flores, 47, who was killed inside a remote shack after he was caught molesting the young girl.

Under Texas state law, deadly force is authorized and indeed, justified in order to stop an aggravated sexual assault and coupled with the fact that the harrowing 911 calls made by the father back claims he even tried to save the pedophile's life led to the grand jury's decision.

Lavaca County sheriff's deputies said that the father, whose name has not been released to protect the little girl's identity, sent her and her brother to feed the family's chickens.

The boy rushed back to tell his dad that someone had grabbed his sister and taken her to a small secluded shack and the father rushed towards his daughter's screams and arrived to find them both with their underwear off.

Flying into a rage, the father beat Flores unconscious, but attempted to call 911 for the rapist after he had made sure his daughter was safe.

Sheriff Micah Harmon had said in June that he was not willing to press charges against the father, rather the case would be presented to a grand jury. At the time, Harmon said that the man was 'very remorseful' and didn't know at the time he had killed Flores.

'You have a right to defend your daughter,' Harmon told CNN at the time. 'The girl's father acted in defense of his third person. Once the investigation is completed we will submit it to the district attorney who then submits it to the grand jury, who will decide if they will indict him.'

Indeed, the father is heard profanely screaming at a dispatcher who couldn't locate the property.
Becoming increasingly frazzled, the father at one point tells the dispatcher he's going to put the man in his truck and drive him to a hospital before sheriff's deputies finally arrive.

V'Anne Huser, the father's attorney, sternly told reporters several times during a news conference at the Lavaca County courthouse that neither the father nor the family will ever give interviews.
'He's a peaceable soul,' Huser said. 'He had no intention to kill anybody that day.'

The attack happened on the family's ranch off a quiet, two-lane county road between the farming towns of Shiner and Yoakum.

Authorities say a witness saw Flores 'forcibly carrying' the girl into a secluded area and then scrambled to find the father. Running toward his daughter's screams, investigators said, the father pulled Flores off his child and 'inflicted several blows to the man's head and neck area.'

Emergency crews found Flores' pants and underwear pulled down on his lifeless body by the time they responded to the 911 call.

The girl was taken to a hospital and examined, and authorities say forensic evidence and witness accounts corroborated the father's story that his daughter was being sexually molested.

'Under the law in the state of Texas deadly force is authorized and justified in order to stop an aggravated sexual assault or sexual assault,' District Attorney Heather McMinn told reporters in June.

All the evidence provided by the sheriff's department and the Texas Rangers indicated that's what was occurring when the victim's father arrived at the scene,' she said. Authorities said he expressed regret at the killing at the time, and no evidence so far has led them to doubt his story. The girl's grandfather agreed it had been an accident.
'My son. Sorry,' the grandfather told the Victoria Advocate in broken English. 'It was an accident.'
Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon added: 'He was very remorseful. I don't think it was his intent for the man to die.'

Residents of the small Lavaca County town were largely in support of the father, saying the victim deserved it.
Sonny Jaehne, a Shiner native, told the Victoria Advocate: 'He got what he deserved, big time.
Friend Mark Harabis reiterated this: 'I agree with him totally. I would probably do worse.
'The family will have to deal with that the rest of their lives, no matter what happens to the father. Even if they let him go, he and his child will have to deal with that the rest of their lives.'

19-yr-old Girl Attacked By A Tiger In Thailand

A British student has been left with permanent scarring after a one-hundred-and-eighty kilogram tiger attacked her at an animal sanctuary in Thailand.

Human Sciences university student Isabelle Brennan, 19, and her sister Georgie, 21, had only been traveling for a week when the attack took place at Tiger Temple sanctuary in Thailand's west.

"We were given a talk beforehand and told not to touch the tiger’s head and to remove dangly jewellery," Brennan told the UK's The Daily Mail.

"We were then shown how to wash a tiger’s back."

It was while Isabelle was petting and washing a tiger that the animal turned it's head and mauled her, pushing her to the ground and biting through her thigh.

"Everything happened so fast," Brennan said.

"One minute I was petting a tiger’s back, the next it turned its head and knocked me to the ground with its paw."

Keepers at the animal sanctuary were quick to act, jumping between Brennan and the animal as elder sister Georgie dragged her away.

"As it lunged with its teeth I felt an agonising pain on the inside of my left thigh above my knee.

"When I looked down at my leg it was terrifying. All I could see was blood," she continued.

Two friends traveling with the girls quickly tied a tourniquet around Isabelle's leg to stop the bleeding.

She was taken to a local hospital where 'tens of stitched' were required to repair the large leg wound.

Isabelle also contracted an infection and high fever, keeping her in hospital in Thailand for more than two weeks.

"The Tiger Temple staff were very upset. They paid for all my treatment in hospital and visited every day."

"They explained the tiger was just being playful," she told the paper.

"However, I want to warn others going to Tiger Temple that the animals might not be as docile as they first appear."

Upon her return to the UK, Brennan was wheelchair bound and had to re-learn how to walk unassisted.

"I was nervous about going into the Temple,’ Brennan said.

"However, I was reassured by the staff that as the tigers had been hand-reared, they were so used to humans they were completely tame.

"They were also tethered by chains and the staff told me no-one had ever been seriously injured."

"In hindsight I had an incredibly lucky escape. I could have lost my leg or worse."

The animal park where the attack took place is one of only a few in the world where tourists can get up-close-and-personal with the animals.

The tigers are reportedly hand-reared by Buddhist monks in the area.

8 Dead, Others Injured As Herdsmen Attack Southern Kaduna

Armed herdsmen have killed eight persons in the troubled southern Kaduna area of Kaduna State. This was confirmed by a Nigerian security operative stationed in the area.

The source said the gunmen stormed Addu village in Kaura local government in the early hours of today and carried out a surprise and gruesome attack.

He also said, the location of the attack was near the new Jos-Manchok expressway, adding that news of the attack had created panic and heavy traffic in the area.

"Security agents are now in the village and the eight corpses have been assembled before us. Those injured have been rushed to hospital by officials of the local government.”

It was gathered that Addu village is mostly inhabited by members of the Attakar ethnic group who are found in Kaura local government of Kaduna State as well as Riyom in neighboring Plateau State. There have been sporadic waves of violence between members of the community and herdsmen.

Six Killed In Fresh Violence In Plateau

The Plateau State Government has condemned Sunday night’s killing of six members of two families in their homes at Kungte village in Jos South Local Government Area of the state.

Commissioner for Information and Communication, Yiljap Abraham said in a statement Monday that the attack on innocent people mostly women and children at a time peace had virtually returned to the state was a cowardly act.

Unknown gunmen attacked the village at about 8pm on Sunday gunning down six people in two compounds. The gunmen said to have been armed with sophisticated weapons, reportedly shot sporadically into the compounds.

The statement by the commissioner read: “The Plateau State Government has received reports of attacks on some communities in the state with great indignation. The unprovoked killing of six members of two families in their home in Kungte village, Kanadap (near Marraraban Jama’a) in Kuru District of Jos South Local Government Area by gunmen on Sunday September 1, 2013, is an evil and wicked act that should be condemned by all members of society.

“It is also a display of cowardice by the perpetrators who under the cover of darkness deliberately chose to visit violence on vulnerable members of society – women and children -to achieve clearly devilish designs. Such an attack, coming at a time when the state has been mostly peaceful for quite sometime appears a desperate attempt to reverse the gains of our hard-earned efforts in breaking down the barriers of ethnic and religious intolerance and thereby rebuilding the bridges of communal consensus.”

It added that security has been beefed up in the affected areas to check any further breach of the peace.

Taliban bombers attack US base in Afghanistan

Nato supply vehicles were set ablaze in the attack, blocking the supply route from Pakistan

Taliban militants have attacked a US base in eastern Afghanistan, sparking a lengthy gun battle in which three insurgents were killed.

Reports say the attack on Torkham base in Nangarhar province unfolded after militants torched Nato supply trucks on the highway leading to the base.

Officials said that no Afghan or US soldiers died in the raid. The attackers did not enter the base.

But officials say the financial cost of the attack is likely to be immense.

Many Nato supply vehicles on the road to the base were left badly burned on the highway. Officials closed the Jalalabad-Torkham road - a key route for these vehicles - after the attack.

A Taliban spokesman told the BBC that the group was behind the raid.

Isaf said the attack was unsuccessful: "Our initial assessment of this morning's events, which occurred in the vicinity of a forward operating base located in Nangarhar province, is that it was an attempted but unsuccessful co-ordinated attack by enemy forces."

The base is home to some of the 66,000 US troops serving in Afghanistan along with forces from other countries. Officials say the base was also an important stopping point for Nato vehicles.

There has recently been a spate of attacks across the country, claiming dozens of lives - most of them civilians.

The violence is being interpreted by some as an attempt by the Taliban to assert their presence and test the strength of Afghan forces ahead of the planned withdrawal of US-led forces at the end of next year, the BBC's Karen Allen in Kabul reports.

PHOTOS: Suspected Spy Bird Detained By Egyptian Authorities

In a case that ruffled feathers in Egypt, authorities have detained a migratory bird that a citizen suspected of being a spy.

A man in Egypt's Qena governorate, some 450 kilometers southeast of Cairo, found the suspicious bird among four others near his home and brought them to a police station Friday, said Mohammed Kamal, the head of the security in the region.

There, officers and the man puzzled over the electronic device attached to the suspected winged infiltrator.

On Saturday, a veterinary committee called by concerned government officials determined the device was neither a bomb nor a spying device.

Instead, they discovered it was a wildlife tracker used by French scientists to follow the movement of migrating birds, said Ayman Abdallah, the head of Qena veterinary services.

Abdallah said the device stopped working when the bird crossed the French border, absolving it of being an avian Mata Hari.

With turmoil gripping Egypt following the July 3 popularly backed military coup that overthrew the country's president, authorities and citizens remain highly suspicious of anything foreign.

Conspiracy theories easily find their ways into cafe discussion - as well as some media in the country.

Earlier this year, a security guard filed a police report after capturing a pigeon he said carried microfilm. A previous rumor in 2010 blamed a series of shark attacks along Egypt's Mediterranean coast on an Israeli plot. It wasn't.

In the bird's case, even military officials ultimately had to deny the bird carried any spying devices. They spoke Saturday on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to journalists.

Yet later, the state-run daily newspaper Al-Ahram quoted Kamal as saying the incident showed the patriotism of the man who captured the bird in the first place.

The bird remains caged for now, as Abdallah said authorities must receive permission from prosecutors to release the animal.

But one mystery still remains: Abdallah and others called the bird a swan. Photographs obtained by The Associated Press showed what appeared to be a stork locked behind bars in the police station.

(Graphic Pixs)Man Digs Up corpse from its grave and sleeps with it

According to the info I got, these photos are from Korea. A necrophiliac dug up somebody else’s wife who had recently passed away and fucked her right there in the graveyard. He must have fancied the woman while she was alive but never got around to fucking her.

The first (and only) opportunity presented itself after she had died. He must have known somehow that in this particular grave there will be a corpse of a young female who has only been dead for a few days so her snatch will still be fleshy (as opposed to dried up or gooey with maggoty fluids).

Necrophilia sounds like a lot of work for too little in return – unless your chosen corpse was buried in a shallow grave, you’re faced with a few hours of hard toil just to dig her up.

You quite possibly have to do it at night with no artificial light while constantly checking over your shoulder and responding to every sound to make sure nobody catches you before you get off. That would suck if you got discovered after an hour of digging with all that sperm still in your nuts.

However if you can get past all the digging, then it’s pure pleasure. Women these days are as good in bed as dead so it’s not gonna feel any different than with a live girl, save body temperature. And you’ll be spared all the nagging and whining.

That Korean guy was onto something with this one…

Famous Army General’s 17-Year-Old Son To Be Jailed For Hotel Gang-Rape

The son of a well-known Chinese general has gone on trial charged with taking part in a gang rape.

Li Tianyi, 17, and four other men have denied taking part in the February incident at a Beijing hotel that followed a night of heavy drinking.

Li is the son of Li Shuangjiang, one of China’s most famous military leaders, who has reportedly fallen ill as a result of his son’s arrest.

If convicted, the baby-faced teenager could serve from three to 10 years, although the law allows for harsher punishment if the case is considered especially serious.

A group of journalists awaited Li and his four co-defendants as they were driven through the gate of Beijing’s Haidian District Court. The case is not open to the public because Li is a minor.

His father Li Shuangjiang is a general famed for singing patriotic anthems for the People’s Liberation Army and often stars in television galas.

He was reportedly taken ill after his son was arrested, and was further shamed when evidence emerged that he may have lied about his son’s age to give him a lenient sentence.

The rape charges aren’t the younger Li’s first brush with the law.

He was sentenced to a year in detention in 2011 as a 15-year-old for attacking a couple over a minor traffic dispute and threatening onlookers, in a case that attracted widespread condemnation online.

He sent to a detention centre for a year after being convicted of assaulting a couple in the street who blocked the path of the BMW he was driving.

Li was ridiculed in the media as a spoiled brat and his father was forced to make a public apology for failing to check his son’s bad behavior.

A video has emerged, published by South China Morning Post, showing General Li referring to his 12 year old son in 2006, meaning his son is now 19 and should then possibly have been tried as an adult in the 2010 incident.

Amid anger over corruption and a widening wealth gap, many Chinese have become increasingly impatient with the antics of the ‘wealthy second generation’ seen as using their parents’ money and connections to avoid repercussions for illegal or outrageous behavior.
