Murder Suspect, Allegedly Ate Part Of Victim's Face

The suspect was covered in blood when they found him, cops said, and that's not the shocking part.

Sources told KRQE that Jaime Vigil, 21, ate part of the face of his unidentified murder victim early Tuesday morning at a motel in Albuquerque, N.M.

KRQE previously reported that police were called to the Imperial Inn after reports of a disturbance.

When they arrived, cops found a man dead inside one of the rooms.

Witnesses told police they saw Vigil walking through the hotel complex with blood on his hands, face and body, according to KOB.

Vigil is charged with an open count of murder.

Nigerian In UK Rapes 11-Year-Old Girl For 3 Hours Inside Bush

An 18-year-old is to appear in court charged with the rapë of an 11-year-old girl who he attacked on Friday, November 23 at around 4.30pm in Enfield, north London, as she walked home from school.

She was dragged into nearby Jubilee Park and rapëd in an ordeal that police said could have lasted as long as three hours.

The girl, who was wearing her school uniform returned home at around 8pm and was taken to hospital.

She had to undergo surgery for injuries sustained in the attack.

Detective Inspector Simon Ellershaw said it was "a horrific and unusual attack of a defenceless schoolgirl".

She had been making her way home along her usual route, one of Enfield's busiest shortcuts, at the beginning of the Friday afternoon rush hour when she was grabbed.

Police have appealed for witnesses and Det Insp Ellershaw said: "Given the significant and unaccounted for amount of time between the incident and the victim's arrival home, we are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen her possibly appearing confused or disheveled following her ordeal.

All calls will be treated in the utmost confidence."

Opemipo Jaji, 18, has been charged with rape and attempted rape and will appear at Enfield Magistrates' Court later.

Witnesses or anyone with information that could help police is asked to call the incident room on 0208 345 4326 or Crime-stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Man Jailed 7 Years For Having Sex With Daughter

An Oredo Magistrate Court in Benin yesterday sentenced a 47-year-old man, Godwin Allu, to seven years imprisonment with hard labour for having sex with his daughter.

The accused who pleaded guilty to the one-count charge of having unlawful carnal knowledge of his 12-year-old daughter, Blessing, was said to have committed an offense punishable under Section 218 of the Criminal Code Cap. 48 Vol. II of the defunct Bendel State of Nigeria, 1976 as applicable in Edo State.

Prosecuting counsel, Miss. Loretta Asaka, told the court that on November 20, 2012, one Mrs. Verlaine Enemaku reported the case at the charge room of the Central Juvenile Welfare Centre of the Nigeria Police in Benin, after being told by the Headmistress of Obaseki Primary School, Benin, that blood stains were discovered on the victim’s uniform.

The complainant said upon interrogation, the victim told the head mistress that her father had sex with her three times on different occasions. It was gathered that the victim, who was admitted and treated at the Benin Central Hospital was later discharged and taken to an orphanage.

Delivering judgment in the case, Chief Magistrate Peter Asemota, who expressed gladness that the accused voluntarily pleaded guilty to the crime, pronounced him guilty as charged.

Asemota, who observed that cases of sexual offenses were on the increase in her jurisdiction, said it was necessary for the court to join other stakeholders in taking a serious stand against the vice.

“For this reason, the convict must be put out of circulation for sometime so that he would not be able to continue with his bestial activities,” the magistrate said.

The court thereafter sentenced the accused to seven years imprisonment with hard labour and no option of fine.

27 Yr Old South African Man Rapes 3 Year Old Girl With A SNAKE

A South African man has been sentenced to 20 years in jail for raping a 3-year-old girl with a live snake.

Regional Magistrate Jan Greyvenstein said he had presided over almost 2 000 sexual crimes cases but this was a first, reported Afrikaans Paper Volksblad.

"What goes on in a person's head to do something like this is something I can't understand. This kind of offence is something no sensible person could justify."

The court heard how Martin Jozana, 27, on 31st of October took the snake to a Bloemfontein house where the little girl had been left by her mother.

Jozana tried to sell the snake to the people of the house and later took the toddler into a corner, where they were out of sight and violated her with it.

The little girl's brother later went to fetch her.

At home, the girl's mother saw blood on her crying daughter and the girl pointed out Jozana.

Man Kills His Friend To Give Him Peace

Joseph Akindele, a middle aged man left people’s mouth agape when he confessed killing his friend, Mufutau, to relieve him of the persistent pain and agony he was going through due to an undisclosed ailment, affirming that Mufutau is “now happy in death.”

Akindele was arrested with a bag containing the skull and other remains of the deceased by a team of patrol officers in the Badagry area of Lagos State.

In his written statement to the police, he said, “I am a tout. I live under the Gbaji/Iyafin bridge at Badagry with Muftau. I don’t have a means of livelihood and that’s why I live under the bridge. I work as agbero (tout) at motor parks; there, I get money to feed. Muftau has been living under the bridge but he was always sick and there was no money to go to hospital.”

“He was suffering too much because his sickness will not go. We didn’t have money for treatment, so after watching him in that pathetic state, I decided to put a stop to it by killing him with a sharp cutlass, so he can rest from the pains he was going through,” he added.

The suspect has been transferred to the Homicide department at Panti, Yaba for further investigation to ascertain if he is in a good frame of mind, a ritualist or/and a cold-blooded murderer.

Unknown Gunmen Kill Christian Couple And Son In Kano

Unidentified gunmen riding on motorbikes today waylaid a Christian family on their way to church in Kano killing the father, mother and their young son at the corner of Masalaci in Unguwar-Gano Yar'akwa area on the outskirts of Kano.

The couple and their son were shot around 8:15 AM while driving to church in Volkswagen golf car in an area known as the hotbed of the Boko Haram insurgent group. The media house of the islamist group was recently demolished by Nigerian troops in the area.

The Kano state Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), ASP Magaji Majia confirmed the killing to journalists saying the gunmen escaped before police arrived the scene of the attack.

SS2 student,17 year-old arrested for raping 4 year-old girl

Oyo- A 17-year-old Senior Secondary School student of Ansar-u-Deen Secondary School, Saki, Oyo State, (names withheld), has been arrested by the police in connection with an alleged defilement of a four-year-old girl (names withheld).

The incident was reported to have occurred on Sunday, November 11 at Ile Mesiah, Modina area of Saki, when the little girl’s mother, Mrs Sherifat Ahmed, sent her on an errand to go and buy a razor from a neighbour’s shop within the compound they reside in.

The woman, in her report at Saki police station, claimed that after about 30 minutes, she stepped out of her room to check on her daughter but saw her coming out of the shop, which door was closed in contrast to how it was usually left open.

Mrs Ahmed told the police that she also noticed that the girl’s skirt had been removed while her pants were torn. This, she added, prompted her to check her daughter’s private, and to her bewilderment, she noticed a deposit of slimy substance like semen.

Based on the report, the Divisional Police Officer, Mr Mohammed Suleiman Baba, a Superintendent of Police, sent some detectives to the scene and the suspect was promptly arrested. After initial investigation, the case was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Iyaganku, Ibadan, for further investigations.

However, during an interview with Crime Reports, the suspect denied having carnal knowledge of the litle girl, saying that the woman lied against him because of the problem he had with her which made them not to be on speaking terms.

Sobbing as he was narrating how the incident happened, the teenager said: “The girl came to buy blade from my stepmother’s shop. She asked me to help her attend to the girl and I did, after which I went back upstairs where we live. About five minutes after, the girl’s mother came and wanted to break my head with a stick but I stopped her with my hand.

“My stepmum came out and appealed to her but she was shouting that I defiled her daughter. My stepmother begged her again and told her to await my father’s arrival. When my father returned to the house, he was angry with the woman’s report, saying that he had warned us not to mingle with small kids in our compound again.

“He took a cane and beat me, after which I went to wash my clothes. It was while I was doing this that police came to arrest me. I had a quarrel with the woman and I stopped greeting her. Maybe that was why she told a lie against me.”

Confirming the story during a press briefing recently, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Mr Clement Adoda, said the boy would soon be charged to court. Crime Reports gathered that the case was eventually charged to court on Friday, November 16. The magistrate adjourned the case to November 29 while she ordered that the suspect be kept in police custody till the date of adjournment.

Nigerian Army Colonel allegedly rapes 16-year-old girl

A serving Lieutenant Colonel with the Nigerian Army, W.L. Nzidee, has been dragged to a Magistrate Court I over alleged sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl (name withheld) in Kaduna. The accused is in charge of the MTO at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).

In an application for issuance of a direct criminal complaint summons filed at the Magistrate Court in the Kaduna Magisterial District in Barnawa, Kaduna South with case number KMD/19DC/2012 by the complainant, she accused the Colonel of committing an offence that constituted “criminal intimidation, rape, acts of gross indecency, abductions and threat to life” contrary to section 397,282,285,272 and 327 of the penal code

According to the complainant, on October 22, 2012, the accused person called her with the pretext to send her on an errand and unfortunately for her the lieutenant colonel had an ulterior motive for inviting her into his house.

She said the accused then lured her into the house and forced himself on her with a threat to kill her if she makes any noise and all effort by her to resist proved abortive because the accused is stronger than her.

She stated further that the accused forcefully had canal knowledge with her without her consent and dis-virgin her leaving her physically and mentally traumatized.

The victim said, she stayed indoor for about 48 hours and could not disclose to her guardian, until when the pains and injuries in her virginal became severe and later rushed to the NDA Medical Centre where the doctor on duty, Dr Okochi, insisted on seeing the officer who committed the assault after which she was admitted for one week.

Woman Arrested For Fondling A Three-Year-Old Boy's Privates

In an unbelievable case of taking the adage 'Catch Them Young' to the extremes, a Tynwald woman got arrested on allegations of fondling her three-year-old neighbour's privates.

Melisa Nkomo has since appeared before Harare magistrate Anita Tshuma facing a charge of indecent assault. She was remanded out of custody to 26 November on US$50 bail.

State led by prosecutor Tungamirai Chakurira alleges that on a date unknown to the complainant, Melisa took the three-year-old boy from his parents' house and went with him to her residence. Upon arrival, Melisa allegedly removed the pair of shorts that the toddler was wearing and had a moment of enthusiasm with the boy's little male organ, it is alleged.

Melisa is said to have immediately made the complainant wear his pair of shorts after the act. The young boy's mother, however, learnt of the incident and made a police report leading to Melisa's arrest.

Teen Babysitter Allegedly Stabs 2-Year-Old Sister To Death

A 13-year-old Georgia girl accused of stabbing the 2-year-old sister that was left in her care.

Tyasia Jackson will be tried as an adult, after her mother came home Monday afternoon to find the girl -- 2-year-old Sasha Lamaya Ray -- stabbed seven times in the chest, WSB-TV reports.

"She died in my arms," Shelton Ray -- Sasha Ray's biological father and Jackson's stepfather -- told the station.

Shelton Ray said he had received a call from Jackson, saying that her sister was missing and that she thought the neighbors might have taken her. Shelton Ray and his wife sped home to try and locate Sasha, and found the bleeding toddler in the backyard. She died before they could get her to a hospital.

Jackson was taken into custody. Shelton Ray told investigators that the teen called him from jail on Monday night and admitted to killing Sasha Ray, Fox 8 reports.

Neighbor Veronica Hillman told CBS Atlantathat prior to the stabbing, she had seen Jackson let a boy into the house. She called the girl's mother, who asked her to make sure the boy left.

Hillman says she entered the home and found the boy hiding in a closet. The boy left with her, and afterwards, Shelton Ray says, Jackson asked three of her siblings to go upstairs and then stabbed Sasha Ray to death.

By the time the toddler was found, Ray says, Jackson had cleaned up the blood and changed her clothes.

When Jackson made her first court appearance on Tuesday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported, family members loudly told her that they loved her.

"She still needs our help," Shelton Ray told CBS Atlanta. "We are her parents."

Gunmen invade Delta hospital, abduct 3 patients

Gunmen suspected to be ritualists have invaded the Tuberculosis and Leprosy Centre at Sanubi Town in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, taking away three inmates in the process. They were said to have stormed the centre in a commando-like style and ordered all those present to lie face down.

The bandits thereafter kidnapped three inmates on treatment before escaping to unknown destination. But the police, who trailed the hoodlums, following a distressed call from anonymous source, later rescued the victims at Ugolo-Orogun. Delta State Command Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Charles Muka confirmed the failed abduction attempt to Daily Sun yesterday in Asaba.

Muka said based on information, the hoodlums were trailed to Ugolo-Orogun and on noticing that police were closing in on them, they abandoned the victims and escaped. The police image-maker said no arrest had been made, but that the command had spread its dragnets to trap the fleeing bandits.

24-Year-Old Man Breaks Record, Gets Arrested After Being Caught With 15 Prostitutes

In a first of its kind, a Harare man appeared in court jointly charged with 15 commercial sex workers after they were nabbed during a police round up on ‘thigh’ vendors operating in Harare Central Business District.

While most prostitutes appear in court MINUS clients, Tapiwa Musara (24) scored a first as it were, as he was the only man charged along with the 15 alleged thigh vendors. Tapiwa, along with 12 self-confessed hookers, readily pleaded guilty to soliciting for the purposes of prostitution while three pleaded not guilty.

The three vehemently denied saying that they were not thigh vending, but they were just girls who were having some good time. The convicted 13 were slapped with US$20 fine and the court did not give them any time to pay as the fine had to be paid forthwith. Failure to pay the fine attracted a 10-day imprisonment sentence.

State led by prosecutor Tendai Kabudura proved that on 13 November, at around 8pm in the CBD, Tapiwa along with the 12 had been nabbed by the cops after they were unlawfully and intentionally solicited for prostitution. It had been proved that they were standing along the streets luring men for sex in return for cash.

They had all been asked what they were doing at the streets corners and they failed to give satisfactory answers leading to their arrest and appearance in court.

Terrorist Slaughter Three Kids In Their Mother’s Presence

[Picture] Murder suspect pours water on his lawyer’s head in court

At least his lawyer kept a cool head.

On Monday, as members of the Cedar Rapids, Iowa jury filed out to deliberate over the murder case against Jerome Power, the 50-year-old suspect dumped a glass of water on his lawyer’s head, according to the Gazette.

“It should have been a mistrial,” Power said after dumping the water on attorney Steve Addington. “You sold me out!”

Power is charged with first-degree murder for allegedly strangling to death his neighbor, Doris Bevins, 68, in her home on Sept. 19, 2010. Police said they found Power hiding behind the front door when they responded to the 911 call from Bevin’s friend who was on the phone with her when she was attacked.

The ABA Journal reports that Power’s lawyer argued there was no DNA linking the defendant to the crime and questioned why Power would try to rob and attack a woman that, everyone in the neighborhood knew had no money.

This isn’t the only strange behavior exhibited by Power during the trial, according to KWWL.

Last week, Power held up a hand-written sign, claiming someone else killed his neighbor.

Rapist jailed for 16 years

Magistrate Court sitting in Kirikiri, Lagos State yesterday sentenced an alleged serial rapist, Princewill Nwogu, to 16 years imprisonment for raping a hairdresser at a hotel in Festac in March.

While sentencing the 32-year-old driver, Senior Magistrate F. J. Adefioye, said his action was a premeditated act, adding that Nwogu was not fit to live among human beings and even animals.

He was found guilty on counts one and two, discharged on three but found guilty on count four.

Adefioye said the prosecution called two witnesses and tendered 18 exhibits, including a video of the defendant having unlawful sex and five nude pictures.

He recalled the statement of one of the victims (name withheld), how Nwogu offered her a drink already drugged and later found herself in a hotel in FESTAC (name withheld) wearing the defendant’s trousers.

Adefioye said the defendant, who under crossing examination, disclosed that the two girls, Blessing and Funmilayo (surnames withheld) were his girlfriends, admitted ownership of the digital camera and invited three other friends as witnesses. The defence counsel, Chief M. D. Ndupu during the proceedings urged the court to discharge his client because one of the victims did not appear in court.

On the four issues for determination by the court, Magistrate Adefioye after consulting several authorities said he had jurisdiction to hear the case, rejected the defendant’s counsel’s argument that wrong section of the law was being applied, the Investigating Police Office (IPO) investigated and tendered exhibits, saying it was not necessary for Funmilayo to appear in court.

Faulting the claim of Nwogu that Blessing consented to having sex, the magistrate observed that since the victim was drugged and was unconscious, she could not have given her consent for the unlawful sex and ruled that the prosecution had proved the case and found him guilty of having canal knowledge of Blessing.

The defence counsel said Nwogu was a first offender and had not been convicted by any court, urging the magistrate to temper justice with mercy by giving an option of fine. Magistrate Adefioye, sentenced Nwogu on count 1 and 2 to one year, discharging him on count 3 and 14 years without option of fine on count 4.

After the judgement, Nwogu was handcuffed by the court orderly, CPL O. Michael and first taken to Kirikiri Medium Person from where he was later transported to Kirikiri Maximum Prison on commercial motorcycle (Okada). Speaking to Daily Sun, Blessing, one of the victims said she was happy to see Nwogu sentenced to prison and thanked God that she didn’t die when she was drugged and raped even as she recalled how the defendant offered him drink.

The counsel watching brief for Blessing, Arit Johnson told Daily Sun that after the second adjournment and the defendant was granted bail, she took over the case, adding “I saw the video of the rape, it was horrible and he even took pictures of the unlawful sex.

17 year old Boy awaiting sentencing for plotting to blow up his former school

The teen awaiting sentencing for plotting to blow up his former school recorded cellphone videos in which he described whom he'd kill and whom he'd spare.

Prosecutors in Tampa released four video of Jared Cano, who at 17 planned a massacre on the first day of class in August 2011 at his former high school, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

The clips show Cano leafing through his bomb and shooting plot in a notebook and smoking marijuana as he explains that he looks forward to dying, ABC Action News reported.

"For those of you retards who don't know who I am, I'm the Freedom High School shooter in Tampa, Florida. Well I will be in a couple months," Cano says.

Pointing the cellphone camera at his notebook, Cano shows a sketch of the school's layout and where he planned to detonate explosives.

"My plan is to set a bomb here at point A, here at point B, point C and point D. Then I got to get to the side entrance of the school by 7:24. The bombs blow at 7:26," he says.

He specifies two teachers that he hopes to kill and names one to save "I've got to make sure he doesn't die, because I like him."

Father, Son And Daughter Arrested In Bank Robberies

A father, son and daughter may be responsible for robbing as many as seven banks in two states, according to authorities.

Ronald Scott Catt, 50, and his two children, 20-year-old Hayden and 18-year-old Abby were arrested last week on charges they robbed a credit union in Katy, Texas.

Deputies with the Fort Bend Sheriff’s Office in Texas say the family, which recently moved to the area, could also be responsible for several other robberies in Texas and their native Oregon.

During the Oct. 1 robbery in Texas, two figures, who appear to be Ronald and Hayden Catt, entered the bank in disguises and toting guns before leaving with money and jumping into a getaway car driven by Abby Catt.

The break in the case came when authorities were able to track down the distinctive orange vests the men wore to a local Home Depot. A review of the surveillance tape showed the family purchasing the disguises at the store.

Eric Lundeen told ABC News he knows the Catt family and said they seemed like “really solid community members”.

“He was a single dad. I think he lost his wife and he had the responsibility to take care of his kids and I got to tell you, he was there for them,” Lundeen said.

The father and son duo are being held in the Fort Bend County Jail on $140,000 bonds after being charged with robbery. Abby Catt’s bond has been set at $100,000.

Cop jailed for having sex with vulnerable crime victims

A FORMER Worksop police officer who abused his position by having sex with vulnerable victims of crime has been jailed for two years.

Simon Jones, 32, who moved to South Wales after resigning from Notts Police in September, had admitted having sexual relationships with two victims, including an instance of having sex while on duty.

The ex-constable was sentenced on Friday 16 November at Nottingham Crown Court.

Det Supt Jackie Alexander, head of the Force’s Professional Standards Directorate, said: “What Simon Jones did goes against everything that we, as a police force, stand for.

“Jones should have been there to protect vulnerable people and uphold the law, not take advantage of their situation for his own sexual gratification.

“It is right that he has been sent to prison for his conduct; he abused his position of trust and failed to meet the high standards of integrity and professionalism that we expect from all our employees.

“We continue to support Jones’ victims in dealing with a number of issues that coming forward has meant for them. I hope that today’s sentencing shows how seriously the Force deals with the behaviour of this nature and that no one is above the law.”

Burglar caught after accidentally filming raid on his iPhone while using it as a torch

A burglar has been caught red-handed after accidentally filming a break-in on his mobile phone.

Emmanuel Jerome, 23, from Newsome, thought he had switched on a torch on his iPhone during the night-time burglary.

Instead, he mistakenly recorded the raid on its camera device.

Mr Jerome, who was found guilty of conspiracy to commit burglary last month, was sentenced to 44 weeks in prison this week.

Judge John Potter was told that Mr Jerome still protested his innocence.

Mr Jerome was arrested after trying to break in to three other properties. Police then found video clips of a house in Marsh in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, which was targeted by a gang of burglars while the owners were on holiday. Property worth tens of thousands of pounds was taken.

Judge Potter told Mr Jerome: 'Significantly, in my view, camera footage of the invasion of that property was captured on your mobile phone.

'You, in my judgement, were an important member of the team that attacked that property on those occasions.'

Another member of the gang, Levi Castledine, of Oakes, is in prison following an earlier hearing.

Martin Sharpe, acting for Mr Jerome, said that although his client had previous convictions for burglary when he was a teenager, he had not committed similar offences for more than five years.

Mr Sharpe said Mr Jerome was married and that his wife was expecting their first child.

Judge Potter said that some of the burgled properties had been occupied at the time of the break-ins and property including cars, mobile phones and jewellery had been stolen.

He branded the burglaries "acts of selfishness".

Hotel employee arrested for stealing money, faking bomb threat

An employee at a Scottsdale hotel was arrested this week for allegedly stealing money from the business and trying to cover up his actions with fake a bomb threat.

Scottsdale Police responded to the Holiday Inn Express at 7350 E. Gold Dust Tuesday night after the desk clerk, 25-year-old Wade Radzinski, called to say there had been a bomb threat.

When officers arrived, Radzinski claimed that someone had told him to leave a bag of cash outside the building or a bomb would be detonated.

Radzinski told police that the suspect had taken the bag of money before they arrived on scene.

While investigating the incident, police asked Radzinski if they could search his vehicle to rule him out as a suspect.

Police said Radzinski didn't reply, but did appear to be sweating on his face and neck.

Radzinski eventually consented to a search of his vehicle, which is when an officer opened the gas cap and $290 fell to the ground.

When Radzinski saw the money fall from his car he reportedly told officers, "I don't know why I thought this was a good idea."

Police went on to learn that the amount stolen from the hotel was approximately $290.

Radzinski eventually admitted that the bomb threat was a hoax, and said he had stolen the money to pay for gas and late bills.

Radzinski was booked into jail on charges of theft and false reporting.

Bible student rapes spiritual leader’s wife, records it on his iPAD and kills her

The Bible student who confessed to killing a spiritual leader’s wife revealed to a pastor he recorded the sexual assaults on his iPad, it emerged today, as the 23-year-old appeared in court. Micah Moore, of Kansas City, was charged on Saturday with first-degree murder in the death of Bethany Ann Deaton, which was made to look like a suicide after a bottle of pills and a note were left by her body.

He appeared shackled in court today with his head bowed to hear the charges against him after he confessed to the October 30 murder on Friday. Moore told an International House Of Prayer pastor at the Grandview Police Department that he video recorded the sexual assaults on his iPad.

Despite this, he has not been charged with any sexual assault. It is not yet clear if his iPad has been seized.

IHOP released a statement today distancing themselves from the ‘cult’ saying they had no idea what kind of practices the students engaged in.

The body of the 27-year-old woman was found in a van with a bag over her head with a suicide note that said: ‘My name is Bethany Deaton. I chose this evil thing. I did it because I wouldn’t be a real person and what is the point of living if it is too late for that?

‘I wish I had chosen differently a long time ago. I knew it all and refused to listen. Maybe Jesus will still save me.’ The statement, seen by The Kansas City Star, said that Moore admitted he was with Deaton at the lake and that he ‘placed a bag over her head and held it there until her body shook’.

Moore was one of a number of roommates of Bethany Deaton and her husband Tyler, who was said to serve as ‘the spiritual leader of a community’. He said he was afraid that Deaton was going to tell her therapist about assaults that had occurred over the previous few months.

Witnesses told detectives they were a part of a ‘religious community’ where they had sex with each other.
Moore told police that he was told to kill Bethany Deaton by a person who said ‘he knew Micah had it in him to do it’.

Another person who lived at their house told police Tyler had recently been ‘angry and frustrated’ and that in the weeks before Bethany’s death he revealed ‘he had had a dream that he killed his wife by suffocating her’.
Moore is the only person to be charged in the case as yet but the police said they are still investigating.

Bethany’s father released a statement on Monday about her death: ‘We are deeply grieving the loss of our beautiful and innocent daughter. We are shocked and horrified by the information now coming forth. ‘The betrayal, the subtle and increasing manipulation, and the brutal victimization which occurred is beyond tragic. We pray for the truth to be revealed.

‘While it is important to understand how Bethany died, it is even more important to understand how she lived. Because of the ongoing investigation, we do not have any further comment at this time.’

Culprits Steal Dead Baby From Grave, And Shave Corpse Hair For Money Rituals

Villagers were left dumbfounded when they woke up in the morning, only to realise that their dead baby whom they had buried the previous day had been exhumed from the grave.

They were further shocked upon noticing that the grave was empty and the corpse was no where to be found. However, the lifeless body was later found after a prominent farmer in the area confessed to have 'stolen' the corpse.

He reportedly acknowledged to be the culprit behind the spine-chilling incident. The man is said to have revealed that he wanted to use the dead baby's body for ritual purposes in a bid to strengthen his farming business.

The incident comes barely a couple of days after another corpse mysteriously got its hair shaved just before burial. Two elderly women are said to have come out of the closet in court where they confessed to have shaved the corpse's hair. They allegedly revealed that they sought to sell the dead man's hair to traditional healers.

The alleged man who exhumed the grave of a baby who had just been buried said he wanted to use the corpse to enhance his farming business.

When the matter was brought before the chief villagers court, by the deceased family members with the hair exhibit as evidence, Chief Matsiwo fined the two women for the crime they committed.

He also warned villagers in the area against engaging in 'get rich quick' schemes as that is the major way of initiating one into the witchcraft world.

Police Arrest 4 Suspected Child Traffickers

The police in Owerri have arrested one Eze Okoro of Gerald Obawuchi Street, Okigwe, and his son, Chika, for allegedly kidnapping and selling a five-month old baby boy.

The Public Relations Officer of the Imo police command, Mr Vitalis Onugu, while briefing newsmen in Owerri on Friday alleged that the suspects sold the baby to one Clement Okorie and and his wife, Emelda, for N150,000.

Onugwu said the couple was also helping the police with their investigation.

He said the identity of the parents of the baby was yet to be determined, adding that the police was still investigating the matter.

Man Falls Asleep On the Floor During Attempted Burglary

Sheriff's deputies responding to a burglary call say they found a 20-year-old man asleep on the kitchen floor of a home in Oregon.

The Washington County sheriff's office says the homeowner discovered the sleeping stranger early Friday. Deputies arrived to find Cristian Villarreal-Castillo, who had in his pockets small electronic devices believed to be stolen from unlocked vehicles.

Deputies say many items in the home in the Rock Creek neighborhood of Hillsboro had been ransacked in an apparent attempt to find valuables. They believe Villarreal-Castillo entered the home through an unlocked door and was in the process of gathering items when he fell asleep.

He is charged with burglary, attempted theft, trespassing and criminal mischief. Investigators also linked him to a burglary that happened a few hours before his arrest.

House Maid Cooks Baby as Revenge for not Getting Paid on time

A House maid has been arrested after she allegedly boiled her employer’s three months-old baby. This was apparently in revenge to her employer’s failure to pay her on time.

The maid, Nyathi is alleged to have boiled the infant in a container on Wednesday last week. The infant’s mother, Karen Dube, collapsed when she saw her baby in the container.

The maid was arrested a day after the gruesome murder and appeared before Western Commonage magistrate, Mr Richard Ramaboea facing murder charges. She was remanded in custody. Some residents said the maid and her employer had a turbulent relationship.

It is understood that the maid usually gets paid on the first day of every month but at the time of the murder, the woman’s salary was overdue by two days.

“I do not think that money was the reason for all this. Dube did not trust her because she has caught the maid stealing her belongings on several occasions. The employer tried to fire her but the maid resisted. So I think that might be the major reason behind the cruel deed,” said the source.

It is reported that on the day in question, Nyathi asked Dube to give her her salary. The employer said she did not have the money and promised to get it by the end of the week and left for work thereafter.

Nyathi, however, appeared not to have believed her employer’s promise. She is alleged to have taken the three-month old baby and put it in a container and boiled the infant on a stove.

The maid then took her belongings and left. On her return in the evening, Dube found her baby still in the container and was so shocked that she fell unconscious. The woman was discovered by a neighbour lying on the floor. An ambulance was called to the scene while the body of the infant was taken to a mortuary.

Woman Stabbed Husband saying - "Jesus and Mary told me to kill him because he is Satan's spawn!"

A woman who allegedly stabbed her husband said she did it after, "Jesus and Mary told me to kill him because he is Satan's spawn!" according to a police report.

Police in South Carolina released new details from the Nov. 9 attack, which landed 36-year-old Tammi Estep behind bars and her husband in the hospital, The Smoking Gun reports.

Horry County Police deputies were called to Estep's residence at approximately 6:45 a.m. on the day of the incident. When they arrived, Estep told officers that "She was sent to save the world," according to a police report.

Estep's son told officers that his mother stabbed his father, 43, WPDE reports.

Police transported Estep to the Seacoast MecLeod Hospital, where she was medically cleared to be transferred to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Estep remains in custody with no bail set, according to the county website. She is charged with attempted murder.

40-year-old woman cuts off rapist’s penis

Monju Begum, a 40-year-old Bangladesh woman stopped an alleged rapist in his tracks when she reportedly cut off his penis and then took it to police as evidence.

According to police, Begam’s neighbor, Mozammel Haq Mazi, forced his way into her shanty and began sexually assaulting her.

Investigators say Begum stopped the attack by cutting off his penis She then placed the evidence into a polythene bag and took it into police as proof that Mazi had attempted to rape her.

Begum, a married mother of three, told police that Mazi had been harassing her for the past six months. Mazi is reportedly also married and has five children.

“It is quite an unusual incident. As far as I am aware, this is the first time that a woman has brought a severed penis to the police station as evidence,” said police spokesperson Abul Khaer.

“We will arrest him once his condition gets better,” said Khaer.

Mazi denied the allegations telling investigators that the two were having an affair.

“Recently she suggested that both of us can go settle down in Dhaka,” said Mazi. “I refused and told her that I cannot leave my wife and children, so she took revenge on me.”

Police Rescue 5-year Old Girl Up For Sale, Kill Two Suspected Kidnappers

The Zamfara State Police Command have killed two suspected members of a syndicate that specialised in kidnapping and trading in human parts in a raid on their hideout .

Malam Usman Gwary, the Commissioner of Police in the state, who stated this on Monday at a press briefing in Gusau, said a five-year-old girl was rescued in the raid.

Gwary said that two suspects were killed in a cross fire with the police along the Sokoto-Gusau highway.

He said the suspects were first intercepted as they were trying to negotiate the sale of the five-year-old girl in Zamfara.

The commissioner of police said that his men acted on a tip-off and laid ambush for the suspects at strategic points on the border between Zamfara and Sokoto states.

He said that the suspected criminals abducted the 5-year-old from a private school in Imo sometime last week.

Gwary said the girl was to be delivered for sale to another syndicate in Niger Republic through the Sokoto-Zamfara border.

Trader Arrested For Molesting 11-Year Old Girl

A 27-year old man has been arrested and charged to court for allegedly raping an 11-year old girl in his shop at Oke Afa, Lagos state.

The trader lured his victim into his shop and raped her.

“He asked me to come inside his shop, held me and removed my pants and forced his manhood inside my private part” She narrated.

The trader, Soronnadi Chinemerem was caught and handed over to the police after neighbours suspected him and force the door to his shop open.

The accused pleaded not guilty after confessing that it wasn’t his first time of having sex with her and as such the act could not be regarded as rape.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs M B Folami ordered that he should be remanded in prison custody and adjourned the case till November 16.

Bar Owner, Convicted Of Raping Three Teenage Girls, Gets 100 Years

A South Dakota bar owner convicted of raping three girls after serving them alcohol has been sentenced to serve 100 years in prison.

Thirty-five-year-old Werner Fajardo (fa-HAHR'-doh), of Sioux Falls, owned the El Cuervo bar in Huron. He was found guilty in August of assaulting a 12-year-old girl and two 14-year-olds at the bar late last year. State regulators revoked Fajardo's liquor license in January and the bar closed.

Third Circuit Judge Jon Erickson sentenced Fajardo on Tuesday, calling the case one of the worst rape cases he had seen in 35 years behind the bench.

Defense attorney Carmen Means says Fajardo continues to maintain his innocence.
